Sophie Martin - Sophie Martin is an Actor, Singer and Voice Artist and Registered Voice Movement Therapy Practitioner.
Currently based in Sydney, Sophie runs a private practice with individuals and groups, works as a freelance vocalist and also teaches vocal technique at Nirimba TAFE. In 2013 she worked with the Australian Children's Music Foundation traveling to remote communities in the Northern Territory. She also uses Voice Movement Therapy in her work with Asylum Seekers and Stepping Stones in Life Therapy. Sophie just completed a pilot Voice Movement Therapy (VMT) project with the University of Queensland working with young women who self harm which was published with SAGE publishing. She has also taught Voice and Movement at the University of Wollongong and the University of Southern Queensland. Her work centres on finding emotional connections and resonance as well as creating flexibility and colour within the voice.
Trish Watts - Trish is a singer, songwriter, and educator with extensive experience as a performing artist & facilitator in Australia and overseas. A registered VMT practitioner who has a love for adventure, especially the world of vocal improvisation and the expression of our internal landscapes. Currently she is an InterPlay Australia teacher and Music Director for the women's Sydney Threshold Choir. Her passion is to accompany the birth of freedom in all its creative forms.
